Lillian Morse Scholarship Award

In March 2002, Waynesboro Players established the Lillian Perkins Morse Scholarship Fund to benefit students who will pursue an interest in the performing arts through higher education. Lillian was a champion of young people and the Players wish to carry on her legacy through this Fund. Your contribution will help to ensure its continuation.  Again, checks may be made payable to Waynesboro Players, Inc. Please note on your check LM Scholarship Fund.


The 2010 Recipient of the Lillian Perkins Morse Scholarship

The Waynesboro Players are proud to announce the winner of the Lillian Perkins Morse Scholarship for 2010 is Aaron Crosby. Aaron is a graduate of Buffalo Gap High School. The scholarship is awarded to a student graduate of high academic standings and of active involvement in theater and the arts, and has been involved with the Waynesboro Players. Aaron has exemplified all of these standards and more, and will be continuing on to the college of his choice to continue studying his love of theater. The scholarship is in honor of the late Lillian Perkins Morse, who was a leader and innovator in the theater and the arts and recognized not only in the local area for her work, but across the entire state of Virginia.
